Kate Abad has been a parishioner at Beatitudes of Our Lord Catholic Church for 50 years. She is a lector (former head of the lector ministry for 20 years), she leads the Beatitudes Women’s Fellowship, taught cinfirmation classes for 10 years and has been a team captain for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life for nearly 20 years. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2025. She has been married for 28 years and has 2 grown children.
